Mrs. B. F. Knowles, 398 South Church Street, Spartnaburg, S. C., would like to hear from any surviving members of the 47th Arkansas Regiment Cavalry, comrades of he father, Thomas L. Wilkes, of Company C, under Capt. William A. Mayo. This regiment was with General Fagan's Brigade, with Col. Lee Crandal, commanding the regiment, and served under Price in his Missouri campaign.
